The Goa (Right to Citizens to Time-Bound Delivery of Public Services) Act, 2013 (Goa Act 19 of 2013), has been passed by the Legislative Assembly of Goa on 02/05/2013 and assented to by the Governor of Goa on 19/06/2013, has been published in the Official Gazette, Government of Goa, Series I No. 12, Extraordinary No. 2 dated 21/06/2013.

An Act to provide for delivery of public services to the people of the State of Goa within the stipulated time limit, including liabilities of Government servants in case of default, administrative efficiency and for the matters connected therewith and incidental thereto.

Vide Notification No. 1/22/2013-14/DPG/CPGRAMS/III/1(2), the Government of Goa has designated the officers mentioned in column (3) of the Schedule below as designated officers and specifies the services as mentioned in column (2) of the Schedule below to be public services for the purposes of the Goa (Right to Citizens to Time-Bound Delivery of Public Services) Act, 2013 and further specifies the time limits as mentioned in column (4) of the Schedule below, within which the public services as specified in column (2) of the Schedule below shall be provided by the respective designated officers as mentioned in the corresponding entries in column (3) of the Schedule below and also specifies the authorities mentioned in column (5) of the Schedule below as Appellate Authorities in respect of the public services specified in the corresponding entries in column (2) of the Schedule below.
