Under the Goa Land Development and Building Construction Regulations, 2010, every Architect/Engineer/Structural Engineer/Town Planner/Landscape Architect/Urban Designer/Engineer-Diploma/Supervisor (Civil) shall be required to be registered with the Registering Authority under the provisions of the said regulations, so as to enable them to sign plans and documents related to the development permission/building permission.
- Every Architect/Engineer/Structural Engineer/Town Planner/Landscape Architect/Urban Designer/Engineer-Diploma/Supervisor (Civil) seeking registration, shall submit the application to the Chief Town Planner, Town & Country Planning Department, Government of Goa as per the format given at Appendix-A7 alongwith attested/self-attested photocopies of the educational qualification (s), proof of local address and on payment of prescribed fees.
- In case of registration as Structural Engineer, they shall submit experience certificate as regards to Structural Engineering practice with designing and field experience.
The registration granted may be renewed on making an application as per prescribed format in Appendix-A7 to the Chief Town Planner and paying the prescribed fees as published in the Official Gazette Series I No 32 dated 04-11-2010 and Official Gazette Series I No dated 14.02.2019.

Note:
(1) Engineers, Structural Engineers, Town Planners, Landscape Architects and Urban Designers/Engineer-Diploma/Supervisor (Civil) having valid registration with their respective Institutions like Institution of Engineers (I.E.I.), Institute of Town Planners India (ITPI), Indian Society of Landscape Architects, equivalent Institute or Society, as the case may be, shall be registered at half the rate of the fee prescribed for registration.
(2) Diploma holders in Civil Engineering or equivalent having valid registration/membership with Goa Civil Engineers Association shall be registered at half the rate of the fee prescribed for registration.
